What is the "default Stripe customer"?
A patient's default Stripe customer is the Stripe customer that will be pre-populated on any new invoice raised through Hero.
Generally speaking, the Stripe customer on an invoice will be the same individual as a patient - however certain patients may want or require their invoices to be settled by other individuals or entities.
For example, a baby's invoices will likely be settled by their parent or guardian.
Can I set a different default Stripe customer for a patient?
You can still change the Stripe customer on an invoice by invoice basis, however if a patient will also want their invoices to be settled by a different individual or entity, you can change their default Stripe customer.
To do this, go to the Stripe App on the App Toolbar within Hero for the relevant patient. Open the App Toolbar, and then go to Settings. From here, scroll down to "Invoice workflow" and you can search your Stripe customer list in the field and select a new default for this patient.
