This guide will walk you through the steps to view and respond to patient submissions in the Hero platform.
Step 1: Access the Hero Inbox
Log in to your Hero account.
Locate and click on the Hero Inbox from the navigation bar.
Step 2: Navigate to the Care Navigation Tab
In the Hero Inbox, select the Care Navigation tab.
This is where all patient submissions are displayed.
Step 3: Filter Submissions by Type (Optional)
Within the Care Navigation tab, you can choose to filter submissions by their type:
Clinical Requests (e.g Medical requests)
Admin Requests (e.g Fit (sick) note requests)
Other Requests (e.g Register at practice)
Click on the relevant tab to view only the submissions for that category.
Step 4: Respond to a Submission
Click on any submission to open the Sidebar.
In the Sidebar, you can:
Send a Message: Communicate directly with the patient.
Save to Record: Save important details to the patient’s record.
Assign to Another User: Delegate the task to a team member.
Mark as Open or Closed: Update the status of the submission.
You can also view the History of the submission to track previous actions and messages.
Tips for Efficient Use
Regularly check the Care Navigation tab to stay updated on new submissions.
Use filters to quickly locate specific types of requests.
Review the history to ensure continuity in patient interactions.
