Hero allows you to assign submissions manually to ensure the right person or team handles each request. This can be useful when specific expertise is needed or if the default assignment needs to be overridden. Follow the steps below to assign a submission to an individual or team.

Steps to Assign a Submission

  1. Sign In and Navigate to the Inbox

    • Log in to Hero and go to the "Inbox" to locate the relevant submission.

  2. Open the Submission

    • Click on the submission to view its details.

  3. Choose an Assignee

    • Use the dropdown menu in the assignment field to select the individual or team responsible for handling the request. Options include:

      • Specific individuals (e.g., a particular clinician or administrator).

      • Teams (e.g., Admin Team, Clinical Team which you can define in Settings).

  4. Confirm the Assignment

    • Once the appropriate individual or team is selected, confirm your choice to update the submission assignment.
