Learn how you can issue self-booking links that direct patients to book into services delivered by partner organisations

Updated over 10 months ago

Cross-organisational booking means that you can invite patients to book at other practices within your network.

First you will need to set up a network, and configure your appointment type to allow network access. You can learn how to do this below.

How do I send cross-organisational links?

Once you have set up your network and everyone within your network has made their cross-organisational appointments available, you can start sending out invites. To do this, create a campaign or an individual message.

After you have typed your message:

  • Select 'Add invite link' > 'Patient invite link'.

  • Select your location and you'll see a list of your practice locations and locations within your Networks.

  • Once you have selected a location you can select an appointment. you will notice that the appointments are those that are available via cross-org at the location you picked.

  • You can then optionally choose a practitioner.

Once you have reviewed your message and link, you can go ahead and press send and your patient will be able to book in at the location you have sent them a link for.

What do patients see?

A patient will receive a text or email with your message and a link to book their appointment. Once they click the link they will be asked for their DOB. Once they have confirmed their identity they will be shown slots available for the appointment they have recieved a link for, they can then go through to chose and confirm an appointment.
