Updated this week

Quick Consult saves unstructured data as a consultation in the patient’s EHR record, and is surfaced directly into the patient’s care history, giving your team a chronological view of the patient’s interactions with the practice. Follow the steps below to create and save a quick consult.

Steps to Submit a Quick Consult

  1. Access the Patient’s Dashboard

    • Use the patient search bar at the top of the screen to find the patient.

    • Select the patient to open their dashboard.

  2. Create a Quick Consult

    • On the patient dashboard, click the three dots (options menu).

    • Select "Create Quick Consult" from the dropdown menu.

  3. Enter Your Notes

    • Type your notes into the provided field.

    • Optionally, add a SNOMED code to ensure accurate documentation.

  4. Save the Quick Consult

    • Once you’ve completed the notes, click "Save to Record".

    • The consult will be automatically saved to the patient’s EMIS record.

By using the Quick Consult feature, you can streamline your documentation process and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records.
