Quick Consult saves unstructured data as a consultation in the patient’s EHR record, and is surfaced directly into the patient’s care history, giving your team a chronological view of the patient’s interactions with the practice. Follow the steps below to create and save a quick consult.
Steps to Submit a Quick Consult
Access the Patient’s Dashboard
Use the patient search bar at the top of the screen to find the patient.
Select the patient to open their dashboard.
Create a Quick Consult
On the patient dashboard, click the three dots (options menu).
Select "Create Quick Consult" from the dropdown menu.
Enter Your Notes
Type your notes into the provided field.
Optionally, add a SNOMED code to ensure accurate documentation.
Save the Quick Consult
Once you’ve completed the notes, click "Save to Record".
The consult will be automatically saved to the patient’s EMIS record.
