Configuring EMAS Manager for the Hero Sidekick toolbar

Use these steps once on each EMIS Web workstation that needs the Hero Sidekick toolbar.

1 Check that your EMIS site is already connected to Hero Sidekick

  1. Click the EMIS orb (EMIS logo) in the top-left corner.

  2. Choose System Tools β–Έ EMAS Manager.

  3. Open the Partner API tab.

  4. In the list on the left look for Hero Health.

    • A green tick means it is already active – skip to step 2.

    • No tick? Click the name once, then press Activate application on the top left corner of EMIS.


2 Select the EMIS users who can run the Sidekick toolbar

  1. With Hero Sidekick highlighted, select Edit Users.

  2. Tick every user that needs access to Hero Sidekick.

  3. Click OK.


3 Enable automatic sign-in for your users

  1. Still inside EMAS Manager, click Login Access.

  2. Tick Auto Login and Allow Login for the same user list you selected above.

  3. Click OK.
