This article will guide you through activating the partner API on the EMAS manager.

Step 1: Open EMAS Manager

Now open EMAS Manager via the EMIS icon in the top left of the screen and go to System Tools > EMAS Manager.

​If you are unable to access EMAS Manager please confirm you have RBAC activity B0062 Local System Administration in your role profile, if not this can be configured in Organisation Configuration.

​Step 2: Select Hero in Partner APIs

Once you have accessed EMAS Manager open Partner API (bottom left of the screen) and scroll to find and select Hero Health.

Click on Hero Health to select the API, this will now be highlighted.

Step 3: Select API User

Once you have selected the Hero Health API, click Activate Application then select Edit Users (top left of the page).

Find the Hero User we created in part 1 and check the box next to their name.

Please note, Activate Application will not be greyed out in your version of EMAS Manager.

Step 4: Set API Password

On the selected Hero User click "Change Password", then set your API Password.

Please make a note of the API Password

​Step 5: User Login Access

With the API Password set, now click Login Access (next to Edit Users).

Find the Hero User we create in part 1 and check the boxes for "Auto Login" and "Allow Login"

Now press OK and you have completed part 2!
