To change your preferred payment method in Hero, start by signing into your patient account.
Click the 'Payment methods' button in the left-hand menu, which brings you to the below screen.
From here you can add or remove a card, as well as set a card as your default payment method, using the buttons in the Payment Cards section.
If you would like to create a Direct Debit mandate click the 'Add' button in the Direct Debit section.
Fill in the required information, select the practice group you would like to create the Direct Debit with, click the confirm box if you are the account holder responsible for the account the Direct Debit payments will be taken from, and click 'Set up Direct Debit.'
Confirm that you wish to set up the mandate by clicking the 'Confirm' button in the pop-up summary box.
