How to issue private electronic prescriptions through Hero?
Once you've issued your medication within EMIS, you can send the prescription to Signature Rx through Hero.
Open the patient dashboard within Hero - you can do this by searching for the patient or clicking the patient's name across the application
Select 'Create prescription' from the Actions bar drop down
Once you have opened the 'Create prescription' page select "Retrieve from EMIS". You'll then be shown a modal with recently issued medications:
Select the medications you wish to add to the private electronic prescription. We'll pull through the dosage and instructions from EMIS. Under 'More options' you can add a note to the prescription, and set whether to send the script by SMS.
To issue the prescription, click 'Issue Rx':
To confirm your identity, enter your prescriber PIN (setup when you setup your prescriber account in Signature Rx), and the script will be sent to the patient.
