Introduction: What is SignatureRx
SignatureRx is an online electronic prescription tool that allow you to issue private prescriptions to patient via SMS, which they can redeem from most high street pharmacies.

Step 1: Connecting your SignatureRx account to Hero Health
Before connecting your SignatureRx account to Hero please make sure you have an account with SignatureRx. To create an account you can do it through their website.
Once you have setup an account you can go to Apps>SignatureRx, here you will be ask to enter your email and password. This is the information you used to set up your SignatureRx account.
π‘ Make sure the SignatureRx account you are connecting is a Clinic account.
Step 2: Connecting prescribers
Whilst setting up your SignatureRx account you will have created "Prescribers", these are the clinician that can issue prescription to patients. We will now need to connect there prescribers to administrators in hero. To do this go to the prescribers tab in the SignatureRx menu in Hero, here you will be able see all your Hero admin accounts on the left, all you need to do it select which SignatureRx account they need to be assigned to in the dropdown on the right.
Once you have done this your clinicians will be able to start issue prescriptions directly through Hero.
Step 3: Issuing prescription
We will not cover this in great details in the article, however now you have set up SignatureRx, you will have the option to Create prescription for patients that are connect with EMIS. What this allow you to do is to issue electronic prescriptions directly from the patients medical record.

π Only administrators who have been set up with a signatureRx account will be able issue a prescriptions, they will be required to input their PIN in order to issue the prescription.
